Chennai Super Kings vs Sun Risers Hyderabad (April 23, 2019)

PREVIEW

MS Dhoni played an unbelievable innings of 84 against RCB last match as CSK fell short by one run. Sun Risers Hyderabad on the other hand will be in good mood after winning their last match and will be looking to build on the momentum. The pitch in Chennai is expected to aid spinners and is expected to be difficult for strokeplay. The expected first innings total is about 160 runs.

WICKET KEEPER

Jonny Bairstow has been in excellent form opening the innings for SRH and has managed to get starts in almost every match and so he gets into our fantasy team over MSD.

BATSMEN

David Warner, current orange cap holder has been in great form with the bat and is a must have fantasy pick.

Faf du Plessis had a match to forget with the bat last match and will be looking to make a contribution in the spin friendly Chennai pitch.

Suresh Raina has been woefully out of touch this IPL but we can expect a contribution with the bat or bowl in the spin friendly surface.

ALL-ROUNDERS

Dwayne Bravo is a death overs bowling specialist capable of picking lower order wickets and can contribute a few runs with the bat also.

Ravindra Jadeja is a must have fantasy option on the Chennai surface and has the ability to contribute with the bat.

Vijay Shankar is a good all rounder capable of scoring quick runs and has the ability to pick up a wicket or two making him a good fantasy asset.

BOWLERS

Imran Tahir has been bowling as well as he has ever been and is a must have fantasy pick.

Deepak Chahar is a swing bowling specialist  and will be looking to pluck out Bairstow and Warner early in the innings.

Rashid Khan has found some wicket taking form in the last couple of matches and is a must have fantasy bowling option.

Khaleel Ahmed is a young quick bowler capable of picking wickets as he displayed in the few  matches and is a good budget fantasy pick.
