Delhi Capitals vs Kings XI Punjab (April 18, 2019)

PREVIEW

Delhi Capitals have done better in IPL 2019 and will be looking to get into the top 4 of the tournament. Kings XI won the last game convincingly and they will be looking to build momentum.  R Ashwin played a cameo with the bat and contributed with the bowl by picking up crucial wickets.  The Delhi pitch is expected to be two-paced and it should assist the spinners now after so many matches being played.  The average first innings score should be around 160 runs.

FANTASY TEAM

WICKET KEEPER

Lokesh Rahul is in great form with the bat and has been getting consistent scores every match, hence nudges out Rishabh Pant in our fantasy team.

BATSMEN

Chris Gayle has been in excellent form with the bat hitting monstrous sixes at will and is a player not to miss out on.

Mayank Agarwal is also in great form with the bat and has been scoring runs consistently making him a good batting fantasy asset.

Shikhar Dhawan has been on fire for DC in the last 2 matches and is a definite fantasy pick

Shreyas Iyer is the most consistent batsman for DC in the IPL so far and is a must have fantasy option.

ALL-ROUNDERS

Ravichandran Ashwin has been excellent with the bowl this IPL and has been picking up a couple of wickets every match.

Axar Patel showed a little bit of his all rounder ability in the previous match and is a good option as the pitch has bit of assistance for spin.

BOWLERS

 Kagiso Rabada is the current purple cap holder in the IPL and is one of the most deadly bowler for DC.

Keemo Paul had a match to forget but is still a good budget fantasy option due to his ability to pick up wickets at the death overs.

Mohammed Shami is a wicket taking bowler at the top of the innings and can pick up wicket at the death overs too, hence a good fantasy pick.

Murugan Ashwin is a budget bowling option for KXIP and is a good fantasy option

The pitch in Mumbai is expected to be batting friendly with bit of assistance for spin. Rohit Sharma is one match away from scoring a big runs and is a must have option in your fantasy team.
